Jongseung (Jonathan) Kim is the Founder and CEO of xCrypton, a strategic advisory firm focused on bridging traditional finance and decentralized finance. With over 25 years of experience across corporate strategy, telecom, and blockchain, he advises financial institutions and blockchain projects on stablecoin design, RWA tokenization, DeFi-integrated banking models, DePIN architecture, and digital asset custody frameworks. Previously, he led SK Telecom’s Web3 strategy, where he launched crypto wallets, NFT marketplaces, and DID-based mobile credential services. He also formed strategic partnerships with leading Layer 1 blockchains and stablecoin projects, driving enterprise adoption of blockchain technologies. He is the originator of the Digital Bancor model, a proposed multilateral monetary framework for a post-dollar world that combines programmable liquidity, on-chain clearing, and stable FX coordination. The model has been presented to international organizations and policymakers as a foundation for next-generation monetary systems. He currently serves as Vice President of the Blockchain and Law Society, a policy research organization recognized by Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT. He is the author of The Post-Dollar Era and Bitcoin (2025) and Blockchainomics (2017), and regularly writes on stablecoin regulation, digital monetary design, and global financial reform.
