Previously, He was a Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Mysten Labs, where he led security and solutions engineering across Mysten and Sui, ensuring rigorous technical and operational standards during the ecosystem’s rapid expansion. Prior to Mysten, he was Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Meta, securing fintech platforms and global revenue infrastructure, and led blockchain security initiatives for Novi, Diem, and NFT efforts within Facebook. His career spans building and exiting SaaS companies, leading high-stakes security operations, and founding and scaling financial services firms. Earlier in his career, he worked in law enforcement, where he was a SWAT commander and homicide detective. He is known for combining deep technical expertise with pragmatic leadership, focusing on intelligent scaling and sustainable growth.
