Steve Lee is a co-founder and managing partner at Neoclassic Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in digital assets and the blockchain industry, with a focus on the consumer and financial services sectors. Previously, he worked at BlockTower Capital, a global digital asset investment firm based in New York and Miami. The firm was founded by a former Goldman Sachs VP and University of Chicago endowment portfolio manager, and is backed by a16z and Union Square Ventures. Prior to joining BlockTower in 2018, he spent eight years at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and Singapore within the firm’s Asset Management division (GSAM), where he served as a portfolio manager, trader, and analyst for institutional clients across Asia.
